NEW COORDINATORS WORKSHOP
This one-day workshop provides new local emergency services and disaster agency
coordinators an overview of their responsibilities in relationship to their
local government and the State. Topics presented include:

roles and responsibilities of coordinating agencies
-
four phases of emergency management
-
emergency operations plan
-
use of volunteers
This course is recommended for newly appointed local
coordinators and their staff. However, personnel of fire services, law
enforcement, emergency medical services and others with emergency
responsibilities during or following a disaster may attend.
Please note: Applications for courses will be accepted up to 1 day prior to the course date. However, the cutoff date for lodging is 7 days prior to class.
