Q. Do I need to register my laser?

A. Registration of Class 3B and Class 4 lasers is required pursuant to Part 315 of the regulations. Class 1, 2, and 3A lasers are exempt from registration.

Q. How do I know if I have a Class 3B or Class 4 laser?

A. Every laser must be labeled with the proper classification. If the label is missing, please contact the manufacturer of the laser.

Q. How much does laser registration cost?

A. There is no fee for laser registration at this time.
